Huawei has officially started the first sale of its Nova 16 smartphone lineup in China, bringing the Huawei Nova 16, Nova 16 Pro, and Nova 16 Ultra to consumers. The new series focuses on battery life, camera upgrades, and HarmonyOS 6.1, with prices starting at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 42,000) for the standard model.
The Huawei Nova 16 series stands out with large 7,000mAh batteries across all three models and support for 100W wired fast charging. The higher-end Pro and Ultra variants also introduce upgraded camera hardware, including a 200-megapixel primary sensor, while retaining Huawei’s focus on imaging and long battery endurance.
Huawei Nova 16 Series Specifications
The standard Huawei Nova 16 features a 6.68-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Kirin 9010S chipset. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and offers up to 512GB of storage. The phone carries a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilisation and up to 100x digital zoom. A 50-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
